The Freshman Firebirds started the 2026 season going 2-1 this week with wins over the Saguaro Sabercats and the San Luis Sidewinders, and a loss to the Willow Canyon Wildcats. The Firebirds grinded out a hard fought victory over the Sabercats on Monday Mar 2, 3-2, led by a strong performance on the mound from Colson Good (3.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8 SO).
