The Firebirds started their 2026 campaign strong with 3 wins over the Saguaro Sabercats, Willow Canyon Wildcats, and Mountain Pointe Pride, and one road loss to the the San Luis Sidewinders. The JV Firebirds started their 2026 season going 2-1 with a loss at the Saguaro Sabercats and 2 home wins versus the Willow Canyon Wildcats and the San Luis Sidewinders. On Mon Mar 2, the Firebirds fell 1-4 to the Sabercats despite collecting a double each from Thomas Gonzales (1-2, 2b, 1 RBI) and Andres Sanchez (1-3).
