Rory joins Chaparral as a freshman coach after two previous freshman coaching stints at Desert Mountain. A coach in Arizona since the 90s, he has led eight all-star teams, with seven teams competing in the state tournament. Five of his teams were AZ state champions and went on to compete in the Western Regional Tournament. Rickert has also coached club teams in AZ Playball for nearly 20 years, including regional and national tournaments. Rickert brings his passion for teaching baseball skills, raising baseball IQ, and love for the game to Chaparral players and program.
